Raymond Rufino, Vice President of the Net Group was appointed Chairman of Building Green 2009, the Philippine Green Building Council's flagship awareness campaign.  Mr. Rufino is a Founding Trustee, Treasurer and Chairman of the Membership Committee of the PHILGBC.  Raymond is leading this year's green building campaign through this event.  

Rufino aims to make real estate development a more environmentally sensitive and socially responsible business.  "Our family has been in the real estate business for three generations.  While we have been successful so far,  it will be up to my generation to build on our past and bring our business legacy into the future.  I hope to lead our generation with a renewed sensitivity to our environment and our community.  For us to truly be successful, we must make a significant contribution not only be creating quality developments but by ensuring that such projects have as minimal a negative impact on the environment and community as possible."

Mr. Rufino invites all stakeholders in the building industry to be part of Building Green 2009.
